LADYBIRD BOOKS REIMAGINED
Interactive Installation – London Design Festival, 2015

Award-winning interactive installation celebrating 100 years of Ladybird Books, reimagining the archive as a playful, analog search engine connecting ideas across time.

  • To design an exhibition interactive/visual showcase to honour the legacy of the Ladybird Books Publications as they celebrate the 100 years of Ladybird books, sponsored by the Penguin Publishing Group, UK.

  • Ladybird Books are treated as an analog search engine, linking classic imagery to contemporary and comparative visuals. The Ladybird Web uses a network of colourful strings to connect ideas from past, present and future, creating a playful yet structured visual system that celebrates the books’ educational and informative nature.

    • Winner of Best Interactive Installation in Ladybird Publications’ 100 Years of Ladybird competition

    • Exhibited as part of London Design Festival 2015

    • Featured in Elephant Magazine, Digital Arts, LCC Blog, UAL Blog
